Conductory's commitment to Privacy Policy outlines our policies and procedures on the collection, use, and disclosure of information when you use the Conductory app for Apple Vision Pro. We value your privacy and are committed to not collecting any personal data from our users. Conductory has no account, and it sends nothing anywhere.
To let you conduct and to place the orchestra around you, Conductory asks for permission to use two kinds of data that Apple Vision Pro provides:
Conductory also uses the position of your head, which visionOS provides without a prompt, to place the stage at your eye height. This data is used only in real time, on your device, while you are on the podium. It is never recorded, stored, or sent anywhere. Conductory does not use the cameras or the microphone, and visionOS does not share where you look with apps. You can turn hand tracking and surroundings off at any time in Settings › Privacy & Security; Conductory still works without them, and you can conduct by pinching and dragging instead.
Conductory keeps a few things on your device so the app remembers them: your favorite scores, the scores you import, the venue and conducting level you last chose, whether you have seen the conducting tutorial, and how many performances you have played (used only to decide when to ask for an App Store rating). This information stays on your device and is never sent to us. You can clear your favorites and delete imported scores in the app's Settings, and deleting the app removes all of it. If your device is backed up, for example to iCloud, this information may be included in your backup, which Apple handles under its own privacy policy.
When you import a score, the system file picker gives Conductory access only to the file you choose. Conductory reads that file on your device and keeps its own copy of the score there. Your original file is not changed, and it is never uploaded.
Conductory is distributed through the App Store. Apple may collect information about your download and use of apps under Apple's own privacy policy. If you choose to share analytics with app developers in your device settings, Apple may provide us with crash reports and aggregated usage statistics that do not identify you.
The security of your data is important to us, but remember that no method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. Since we do not collect personal data and Conductory keeps your information on your device, your privacy and security are not at risk from our Service.
Our Service does not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from anyone under the age of 13.
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. You can find the latest version of Privacy Policy on this page. We advise you to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes.
